Ten Percent (10%) of America's Workforce Unemployed or Underemployed

How Many Americans are Unemployed or Underemployed as of February 2015?

Getting Head Count of Unemployed Impossible

Is the Unemployment Rate Reported by the Government Accurate?

The article suggests that the stated unemployment rate of 5.7% is incorrect.  I tend to agree; the rate is determined each month via survey, and is therefore is in large part based upon extrapolation of available information.

In any event, the fact is that far too many members of the labor force are either out of work, employed in jobs for whicvh they are overqualified (and not within the person's chosen profession) or only marginally attached to the workforce (i.e. employed on a part-time basis).
