Increase Minimum Wage to $10.10 Per Hour? McLovin' It

He Can Afford a Few Big Macs
Bill to Increase Minimum Wage for $7.25 to $10.10 Per Hour Has Support of McDonald's CEO Don Thompson

McDonald's CEO Don Thompson, who makes per $9.5 million a year, recently told students at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management that said he would support a  proposed bill effectuating such an increase.

The Democrat-sponsored bill received President Obama's support last November.

More Cheeseburgers for my Friends!
In February 2014, Mr. Obama signed an Executive Order raising the minimum wage for federal workers to $10.10 per hour.

Mr. Thompson's support seems wise, on at least 2 fronts: 1) higher wages attract a better pool of applicants; and, 2) higher wages means more people can buy McDonald's fries!
